Join our dynamic team at Zotefoams as a Process Engineer where you'll play a key role in eliminating waste, optimizing production processes, and introducing new products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Identify and eliminate waste in the production process through the use of lean manufacturing tools, root cause analysis, and logical problem-solving.
2. Use analytical techniques to identify trends in production processing parameters and material property data.
3. Draft and own production work instructions (SOPs & SPPs) to ensure production processes are safe, efficient, and produce high-quality products.
4. Lead continuous improvement projects from ideation to delivery, managing stakeholders, timing, and costs effectively.
5. Conduct risk assessments on new processes and equipment by liaising with the OHSE department to identify and control hazards and risks.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree or equivalent in material science or a related field (Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, etc.)
• Knowledge of polymer processing techniques such as extrusion and injection moulding
• Proficient in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, NWA Quality Analyst), MS Office, and ERP systems
• Knowledge of simulation software (e.g., MATLAB, Sci-lab) is desirable
