Reporting to the Process Manager in the Aberdeen office, this post will play a critical role in the delivery of process optimisation services globally for both on and offshore applications. You will be responsible for the delivery of process engineering activities for both 3rd party customers and internal NOV Process Systems global offices.
You will be required to help tender and execute a variety of process design studies and process system optimisation projects.
The role is particularly technology focused and will require experience working at component level with technology as well as a good grasp of chemistry and fluid dynamics in both theory and practice. Key to this role will be your attention to detail, technical accuracy, communication skills (both spoken and written), and the ability to work effectively with other team members.
The role requires the ability to communicate effectively with clients at all levels, prepare technical and commercial tenders, and when required, carry out onsite process engineering and chemistry work as part of troubleshooting and optimisation projects.
Key to this role are your attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others. An appreciation of the commercial implications of process engineering decisions, with a focus on delivery and a proactive approach, are critical for success.
