Job summary

Vero HR Ltd is seeking a Process Development Scientist to join a growing diagnostics-focused team in the United Kingdom. The role centers on developing robust, scalable manufacturing processes to transition products from development to production.

You will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality and other internal teams to ensure processes are robust, reliable and suitable for larger-scale production, with a hands-on approach to continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Experience in process development or manufacturing science.
• Experience in diagnostics, including lateral flow or ELISA is preferred.
• Experience scaling products into manufacturing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on mindset with passion for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Support the scale-up of products from development into manufacturing.
• Plan and carry out experimental work to improve processes.
• Identify process challenges and develop practical solutions.
• Support transfer of developed processes into routine manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality and Operations teams.
• Analyse experimental data and prepare technical documentation.
• Support process validation and continuous improvement activities.
