I am recruiting for a Process Engineer with design experience for a reputable client in the Central Belt of Scotland. This role is ideal for the right candidate and may not suit everyone.

My client is a growing consultancy operating in the high-hazard process industries across the UK, looking to expand their Process Engineering team.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Supporting process and senior process engineers in Process Design during Concept, FEED, and detailed design phases
• Producing technical and engineering reports
• Creating Process Engineering Drawings (PFDs, P&IDs)
• Conducting process calculations (thermal loading, heat transfer, pumps)
• Performing site visits, surveys, meetings, and related activities
• Undertaking process investigations and troubleshooting
• Preparing process specifications and deliverables

Desirable Qualifications:

• A degree or equivalent in Chemical Engineering
• Chartered status or working towards it
• Familiarity with process design in chemical processing plants
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
