About The Role

Role summary:

A newly established function within NHSP offers a great opportunity for a highly focused process and data governance lead to support our 5-year business plan, aid in our transformation programme, and set us up for future success.

The role is key in ensuring effective NHS Professional's business processes, risk mitigation, and compliance through controls. It will focus on process, data, and system optimisation to support NHS Professional’s goal to be the NHS’s workforce partner of choice.

Skills/Responsibilities:

  • Coach and influence departments on best practices, consistency, and governance in process and data matters.
  • Develop, review, and maintain procedures supporting best practices.
  • Report on process adherence, challenge non-compliance, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Assess changes following system releases and legislative updates.
  • Identify and eliminate manual workarounds.
  • Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement Lead to enhance processes for efficiency.
  • Analyze customer experience data and business metrics to refine processes continually.
  • Work with all business areas to establish and adapt best practices.
  • Enhance engagement with processes using appropriate tools and visuals.
  • Identify gaps in process adherence and implement corrective actions, including training.
  • Create a framework for maintaining clean data across NHSP systems.
  • Work collaboratively across functions and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with the Quality & Training Lead on training needs and quality policies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

About The Candidate

Skills we are looking for:

  • Experience in a recruitment or workforce management organization, capturing and analyzing business requirements, and developing processes and policies.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing governance frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of data and process optimisation, with the ability to build sustainable relationships and inspire better ways of working.
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement, evaluating approaches against internal and external standards.

We offer hybrid working, mainly from home, with the contractual base at the nearest office to you—Hemel Hempstead, London, or Leeds—and occasional office visits for team meetings.
