Job description

We are currently seeking a Process Controller to join our Guildford area operations team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated and sociable team of professionals committed to delivering millions of litres of water to customers across Berkshire & Buckinghamshire.

Details:
  • Base Location: Shalford - Guildford - GU4 8BW.
  • Working pattern: 38 hours, Monday - Friday, 07:30 am - 15:36 pm, plus standby rota for additional payments.
  • Requirements: Full, clean UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete scheduled work on plant and equipment, following company standards to improve resilience.
  • Respond to reactive work to maintain operations and water supply.
  • Support large-scale planned work with stakeholders.
  • Assist in training apprentices when required.
  • Promote safety at work.
  • Participate in out-of-hours standby work on a rotational basis.
  • Learn to operate and optimize processes and equipment to ensure water quality, safety, and efficiency.
Candidate Profile:
  • Logical thinker with attention to detail and workload management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Health and safety awareness.
  • Decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • IT system competence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Water Production license or equivalent preferred, not essential.
  • Physically fit for confined space work after training.
