Job Description

As a Process Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality of all processes within the factory. Any issues or concerns regarding quality must be reported to the area Line Controller, Operation Team Leader, or Department Manager for immediate corrective action. Effective communication, teamwork, and interaction with other operatives and supervisory staff are essential. The role is primarily performed in a temperature-controlled environment and involves extensive standing.

Shift: 2-2-3 shift pattern (06:00-18:00), Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday; Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Department: Packing

Pay rate: £13.45 per hour

Salary: £29,374.80

Paid breaks.

Location: Main Street, Anwick, NG34 9SL

Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out tasks as trained and advise managers when asked to perform tasks outside your training.
  2. Ensure health and safety of yourself and others; report safety issues and accidents immediately.
  3. Maintain high standards of behavior, quality, and hygiene in the production environment.
  4. Ensure productivity standards are met.
  5. Be flexible to work in any area of the business as demand requires.
  6. Work overtime or outside core hours as necessary to meet business needs.
  7. Actively seek to reduce environmental impact, such as waste reduction and recycling.
  8. Prepare at the start of each shift to carry out checks accurately and efficiently.
  9. Record all shift information clearly and accurately for management review.
  10. Report anomalies promptly for corrective action.
  11. Ensure equipment is available, functional, and ready for use.
  12. Operate and check all monitoring equipment within specifications.
  13. Stay updated with product specifications and testing procedures.
  14. At shift change, ensure proper handover of all relevant information, documentation, and equipment.

Any other duties as required.
