Cranswick Prepared Poultry, located in the HU7 area of Hull, is expanding its team and is looking to recruit a Process Controller for the night shift. Our client is a leading UK food producer, supplying high-quality food to major UK grocers, the food service sector, and global customers. They are investing in market-leading technologies and infrastructure to ensure efficient delivery and growth.

We Offer:

  • Pay: £14.73 per hour
  • Working Hours: 6PM - 6AM
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
  • Immediate starts after registration and induction

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety and quality checks across production lines
  • Verify weights and ensure they meet specifications
  • Check labels for accuracy
  • Perform gas checks according to standards
  • Complete CCP checks and understand their importance within the manufacturing process
  • Conduct regular visual inspections
  • Perform line operation, product, and process quality checks
  • Accurately complete paperwork during checks

Requirements and Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred
  • Willing to undertake Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 Health & Safety training
  • Good planning and forward-thinking skills
  • Reliable and conscientious
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Physically fit to handle heavy meat products
  • Strong attention to product quality
  • Adherence to work instructions and procedures
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn and develop
  • High standards of health and safety awareness
  • Experience in the industry is advantageous but not essential
