Job summary

Adepto Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Process Chemist role based in Staffordshire at a market-leading chemicals manufacturer. The successful candidate will become the on-site go-to expert in process development and scale-up.

You should hold a Chemistry degree (preferably Organic) and have experience in the chemical industry, process development or industrial R&D to drive manufacturing excellence, safety and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry (preferably Organic) required.
• Experience in chemical industry, process development or industrial R&D.
• Strong ability to bridge laboratory development and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Support development, scale-up and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and new products.
• Coordinate plant trials to bridge laboratory development and production operations.
• Support production performance and drive manufacturing excellence and cost performance.
• Develop technical expertise and share knowledge across the organisation.
• Troubleshoot process issues and facilitate root cause investigations.
• Monitor and report production KPIs and OEIs.
