Job summary

Frossell Recruitment Limited is seeking a Process Automation Software Engineer in Peterborough. You will develop PLC and SCADA software for live projects and see solutions on site, working from quotation through commissioning.

The role requires hands-on programming with Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View SE, plus ISO 9001/14001/27001/45001 awareness, and an electrical engineering degree or apprenticeship. Hybrid working arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• An electrical engineering degree or apprenticeship.
• 4+ years of Rockwell Allen-Bradley ControlLogix experience.
• 4+ years of FactoryTalk View SE experience.
• Experience working to ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC and SCADA software applications.
• Work from customer URS documents to create functional design specifications.
• Test and commission project deliverables on site.
• Make sure designs comply with regulations and customer specifications.
• Deliver your design and engineering tasks on time and to a high standard.

Process Automation Software Engineer

Peterborough Full time Hybrid (£48,750 per annum) plus overtime

Following continued growth and new contract awards, my client is seeking a Process Automation Software Engineer

Write the code that runs real plants.

If you love Rockwell platforms and want to see your work go live on site, this is the role. Our client delivers control and automation solutions across a wide range of industries, from minor upgrades to full turnkey systems and we want a Process Automation Software Engineer to help us build them.

You’ll be involved from quotation through to commissioning, working directly with customers and taking responsibility for your own project deliverables. This is the kind of role where you start with a customer requirement and finish with a system running in the field.
