Our client, a hyper growth unicorn in the Fin Tech space, is looking for a Process Automation Engineer to join their London office. This is a standout opportunity to design and implement an autonomous automation framework in Python, leveraging AWS to drive end-to-end automation across critical brokerage functions.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned automation expert with 8+ years of experience working within AWS environments and strong Python development skills. In addition, hands-on experience with observability stacks and CI/CD pipelines is essential. This role will involve defining SLIs/SLOs, building monitoring dashboards, supporting CI/CD and observability initiatives, and contributing to model and vendor risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Python-based automation frameworks on AWS Bedrock, integrating securely with internal systems.
• Automate and optimize work flows across Operations, Compliance, and Risk using micro services and LLM agents.
• Develop and refine Bedrock model strategies; monitor and improve agent performance, latency, and cost.
• Define SLIs/SLOs, build dashboards, support CI/CD and observability, and contribute to model/vendor risk assessments.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience of Software Engineering using Python
• 3+ years designing distributed, event-driven systems in AWS
• Proven experience of integrating or fine-tuning LLM/GenAI solutions (OpenAI, Bedrock or similar)
• Deep knowledge of Jira data model, webhooks, and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Strong grasp of SaaS integrations: OAuth, secret rotation, data-in-transit/at-rest encryption
• Familiarity with financial or regulated environments and related control frameworks
• Hands-on with observability stacks (Grafana, Datadog) and CI/CD
