Role: Process Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Architect with deep business domain expertise and a strong background in enterprise architecture, specifically within the banking sector. This role is pivotal in driving process optimization, scalability, and alignment with strategic business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the documentation, analysis, and re-engineering of core banking business processes to enhance speed, reduce cost, and improve efficiency.
  • Develop and implement a structured Business Process Management (BPM) framework that ensures processes are scalable, measurable, and adaptable to change.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business units, IT, and data architecture to ensure cohesive process design aligned with customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize BPM tools such as Blueworks Live, Signavio, or equivalent to model and manage business processes.
  • Provide strategic input into enterprise architecture initiatives, ensuring seamless integration between business, IT, and data architectures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support change management efforts across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture, with a specialization in Business/Process Architecture and Business Process Engineering.
  • Extensive background in the banking or financial services sector, with a track record of successful process re-engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of IT Architecture and its interplay with business and data domains.
  • Hands-on experience with BPM tools such as Blueworks Live, Signavio, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient process designs.
  • Certification in BPM, TOGAF, or related frameworks.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks relevant to banking (e.g., FCA, PRA).
