Job Description

Process Architect required on an initial 6 month contract basis (outside IR35) by a leading Financial Services company, supporting a large-scale, multi-year, strategic Investment Management systems change programme.

This is a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing programme-wide process standards and frameworks. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, championing process discipline, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across the programme.

The role will also involve coaching and guiding a matrixed team of Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Enterprise Architects, embedding a culture of process improvement and process maturity.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in process architecture at a programme level
• Experience within Investment Management, Asset Management, or Financial Services environments
• Hands-on experience with process modelling techniques and tools (e.g. BPMN, Visio, Aris etc)
• Strong background in process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
• Experienced in coaching and functionally leading a matrixed team of change professionals (BAs, PMs, EAs)
• Experience in supporting large-scale transformation programmes, ideally with both business and technology change components.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior, challenging stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulatory-driven environment
• Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills

This is a senior, influential and business-critical assignment, focused on identifying and driving process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies. You will manage senior stakeholders, securing buy-in to new processes, standards, and frameworks.

You will provide oversight and assurance on process compliance across all programme workstreams. Coach and guide BAs, PMs, and EAs on process discipline, best practices, and continuous improvement culture.

This is an initial 6 month contract assignment, based flexibly from London, offering a highly competitive rate with strong potential for extension.
