Process and Controls Analyst

Location: Greater Manchester (Hybrid working – 3 days in office, 2 days flexible). The location is accessible by bus, car (free parking), cycle, rail.

T2M Resourcing is working with an innovative, multibillion-turnover market leader offering a great opportunity for a Process and Controls Analyst with strong controls testing experience. The role will focus on financial reporting to ensure governance across key business areas.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Internal Controls Manager, build process models in consultation with process owners and subject matter experts.
• Extend the internal controls framework to cover process, system, and operational controls.
• Manage the ongoing certification of the internal controls programme.
• Identify opportunities for improvement through audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Enhance the effectiveness of the internal control framework.
• Utilize and develop best practice processes and tools to strengthen corporate governance, financial controls, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements:

• Ideally a qualified accountant, part-qualified, finalist, or pursuing a professional qualification (study support for ACCA provided).
• At least two years’ experience in finance, process controls, or audit, with proven controls testing experience. Candidates from accountancy practice or industry are considered.
• IT audit experience with a controls testing focus is preferable.
• Quick learner with attention to detail, passionate about accuracy and compliance.
• Strong analytical, IT, and MS Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills, confident at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as needed.
