Job description

Service Care Solutions are the leading recruitment agency for the Probation Service nationwide. We are currently recruiting for a Probation Officer in Slough!

Location: Slough

Hours: Full time, Hybrid working available

Duration: On-going contract

Pay Rate: £28 p/h Ltd (DoE)

Duties

1. Undertake a full range of offender management tasks, including generic Offender Manager responsibilities.
2. Support the Probation Delivery Unit.
3. Carry out safeguarding duties.
4. Conduct risk assessments and risk management.
5. Knowledge of OASys is advantageous.

Probation Officer Technical Requirements

• You must hold a Probation Officer qualification or be a qualified Probation Officer. Additionally, successful candidates must hold one of the following qualifications:
• PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice; or Diploma in Probation Studies; or Diploma in Social Work (Probation option); or CQSW (Probation option).
• Knowledge and understanding of the Criminal Justice System and the Probation Service.
