Probation Caseworker

Salary: 23,700 per annum

Hours: 35 hours a week

Location: North Wales/Hybrid

About the Role

Brook Street Social Care is working with a wonderful charity that is recruiting for personal wellbeing coaches. You will join an award-winning charity specializing in social justice, using expertise and real-life experiences to empower individuals and help them access support. You will support people who are affected by poverty, exploitation, abuse, addiction, mental health issues, or involvement in crime. This role involves speaking with individuals referred by their probation officers to provide advice, guidance, and support.

The position is primarily office-based with some flexibility for home working and opportunities for face-to-face meetings with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, person-centred support addressing diverse wellbeing needs, including family relationships, social isolation, and emotional health.
  • Support individuals transitioning from prison or involved in the criminal justice system.
  • Assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
  • Collaborate with various partners and maintain accurate records.
  • Contribute to out-of-hours support services.
