Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative for our Gateshead site to ensure timely loading/unloading and accurate stock updates. You will help supply materials to production and maintain orderly warehousing operations.

The role offers a steady day shift with a 4 on 4 off pattern. A Counterbalance forklift license or proven experience is required to handle stock and materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift license or proven experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Experience handling stock and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve KPI targets on a consistent basis.
• Loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods.
• Distribute ingredients & materials from warehouse to factory.
• Receipt of ingredients & materials to site.
• Stock taking & inventory control.
• Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse environment.
• Adhere to health & safety standards at all times.
• Comply with standards of food safety, quality and legality at all times.
