Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is seeking a proactive Warehouse Operative to join our team in York. The role involves loading/unloading, stock control, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to production while maintaining high safety and food hygiene standards.

The successful candidate will hold a forklift licence (FLT or Aisle Master) and work Monday to Friday on a 6/2, 2/10 shift pattern. Join a growing UK operation supporting leading food brands.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (FLT) or Aisle Master.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods.
• Distribution of ingredients & materials from warehouse to factory.
• Offloading & receipt of ingredients & materials to site.
• Stock taking & inventory control.
• Active involvement in recycling programme.
• Keeping the warehouse environment clean & tidy.
• Adhering to health & safety standards at all times.
• Complying with standards of food safety, quality and legality.
