Farol Ltd, a leading family-owned agricultural and groundcare machinery dealer, is seeking a Proactive Service Advisor to join the Golf & Turf Service Department at our Milton Common head office. You will coordinate workshop activities, allocate tasks to around 20 technicians, and drive service opportunities while maintaining outstanding customer service levels.

The role involves using in-house tools, scheduling, invoicing, and proactive customer follow-up.

Responsabilidades

• Utilising scheduler and planning tools to allocate work for technicians across the group by expertise.
• Reporting on proactive service opportunities won, lost and ongoing.
• Assisting with day-to-day management of a team of ≈20 technicians.
• Managing workshop jobs from enquiry through scheduling, parts allocation, invoicing and queries.
• Ensuring customer service levels meet needs and maintain first-class service.
• Proactively follow-up with customers after high-value repairs and services.

Farol Ltd is an extremely successful family-owned, multisite agricultural and groundcare machinery business and one of the largest John Deere dealerships in the UK. Established in 1977 and now employing 290 people, we are the market leaders in agriculture, groundcare and homeowner products. In addition to holding the prestigious John Deere franchise, we are also dealers for Club Car, TurfCo, Weidenmann and Stihl along with many other high-end brands.

About The Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Proactive Service Advisor to join our Golf & Turf ServiceDepartment at our head office in Milton Common near Thame. Your role will be working with the Group Golf & Turf Service Manager and their team of Service Advisors to ensure the smooth running of day to day activities within the workshops.

Your main duties will include:

• Using our in-house developed tools to proactively develop sales revenue through the promotion of our Service department to existing and new customers
• Utilising our scheduler and planning tools, allocating work for the technicians around the group based on their expertise and skill
• Reporting out on proactive service opportunities won, lost and ongoing open opportunities
• Assisting with the day to day management of a team of approximately 20 technicians
• Managing workshop jobs from start to finish, i.e. dealing with the initial enquiry, scheduling the work, ensuring the correct parts are allocated, preparing invoices and dealing with any queries that may arise
• Ensuring our customer service levels meet our customers’ needs and expectations whilst maintaining a first-class standard of service at all times
• Proactively follow-up with customer following high value repairs and services

About You

The right candidate will have the below skills:

• Exceptionally strong administration and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, particularly confident when speaking to customers over the phone
• A “Can-Do” attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
• The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
• The ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook etc with the ability to quickly learn to use new, previously unfamiliar software)
• Attention to detail and accuracy

About The Package

Basic salary of approximately £28-£32k (dependent on experience) plus generous bonus scheme, 20 days holiday increasing by 1 day for each completed year of service up to a maximum of 25 days (plus Bank Holidays), company pension, employee wellbeing and financial planning service.
