Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an Early Intervention and Sustainment Officer for a 6-month contract in Devon. You will identify households at risk of homelessness at the earliest stage and help them remain in safe, sustainable accommodation.

You will provide timely, person-centred housing advice and practical interventions, and collaborate with Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, Health and voluntary organisations to coordinate effective early interventions and upstream prevention.

Responsibilities

• Identify people and households at risk of homelessness at the earliest stage.
• Provide timely, person-centred housing advice and practical interventions.
• Work with partners to coordinate effective early interventions and upstream homelessness prevention.
• Support resettlement schemes, including Homes for Ukraine, and assist re-matching where appropriate.
• Collaborate with Children’s Services, Adult Social Care, Health and voluntary organisations to sustain housing outcomes.
