Location: We have an opportunity for a Proactive Escape Jetting Technician to join the Customer field Services Team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you? The role will be covering the Yorkshire region, ideally, we would be looking for someone who lived in the West or South Yorkshire area. A full valid driving licence (with no more than 6 points) is an essential requirement for this role.

Work type : Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

Where you fit in:

  • As our Proactive Escapes Jetting Technician, you will carry out proactive investigation work on all Public, S24 and T2011 sewers at the identified properties.
  • Be responsible for the safe operation of the jetting vehicle (jet van) in line with YW operation procedures such as Sewer Jetting policy and national standards

What skills & qualifications you will need:

  • Experience of Health and Safety management processes and systems.
  • Proven ability to work in a busy environment, managing day-to-day workloads.
  • Prioritize work in a short space of time to intervene and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal and external relations.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and make decisions.
  • Understanding of sewerage system and performance issues.

You will also benefit from having:

  • An ability to drive a learning and sharing culture across teams.
  • Experience of driving sustainable performance against challenging business targets.
  • Previous experience in a commercially orientated and/or regulated environment.
