We are seeking dedicated healthcare professionals for the PRN Days LPN or RN position at Halifax County Jail. This role offers flexible scheduling with 12-hour shifts, ideal for those seeking extra income and work-life balance.

Position Details:
  • Location: Halifax County Jail
  • Schedule: PRN Days, 12-hour shifts
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver patient care, evaluate symptoms, reactions, and progress; chart results; establish nursing plans; work within State Scope of Practice and Guidelines, in collaboration with Physician/Provider(s).
  • Administer prescribed medications following nursing standards and correctional regulations.
  • Follow established treatment plans and perform emergency interventions, physical assessments, and apply critical thinking skills.
