About the team

Due to strong growth, we are recruiting an Audit Director for our Privately Owned Business team in Bristol. You will support local and national partners to develop this audit team, expand our client offerings, and contribute to our strategic growth. You will also work closely with clients to provide exceptional audit services.

About the role

Lead the client service management team in audit strategy and planning.
Provide technical advice and leadership to the audit team and clients.
Maintain control and stability under pressure, meeting deadlines.
Present audit opinions and reports, including group reporting and audit committee papers.
Identify and pursue opportunities for new business.

What are we looking for?

Significant experience leading external audits, managing client portfolios, and leading audit teams.
ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification.
Experience managing diverse audit clients across sectors.
Experience at Director level with aspirations to become a Partner.
Client relationship management skills.
Up-to-date technical knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102 and IFRS.
Proven success in winning new business.
