About the role

Our Private Client team is evolving into a national powerhouse, and we’re looking for a Manager to bring leadership, fresh thinking, and serious client skills.

Following some exits/retirements and us coming together as a National team after acquisitions, we’re injecting new energy into our hub.

About you

What you’ll be doing

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, with some partnership and trust work.
• Including preparing CGT calculations, handling client queries and keeping clients up to date with recent tax changes.
• Supporting the rollout of automation tools (we’ve got a bot named Petar).
• Acting as a voice in Manchester — mentoring, challenging, and driving change.
• Collaborating with a national team to deliver a seamless, tech-enabled compliance process.

• A qualified (including ATT, CTA) or experienced tax pro with solid private client compliance knowledge.
• Someone who’s client-obsessed — you know how to build trust and add value beyond the return.
• A change-maker who’s excited by automation, innovation, and doing things differently.
• A cultural fit — ambitious, collaborative, and not afraid to challenge the status quo.
