Job summary

RGIT Australia is hiring a Private Site Fundraiser to cover South-East London and Kent. This full-time, permanent role pays £16.59 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay) with shifts at busy public locations.

You will engage with shoppers in shopping centres, supermarkets and train stations to raise awareness for well-loved UK charities, traveling between sites as required. Strong people skills and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong people skills – able to communicate with supporters and colleagues with confidence and fluency.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Ability to communicate with empathy to a diverse range of individuals.
• Excellent relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• You will be working in train stations, shopping centres and supermarkets to increase awareness and inspire support for charities.
• Sites generally change weekly; travel to fundraising sites across South-East London and Kent is required.
• Fundraising shifts last 6 hours with a 30 minute lunch break; full-time staff work five days a week, Mon-Sun.
