• Oversee day-to-day running and management of the Private Sector Housing and Adaptations team, deputising for the Private Sector Housing Manager as required.
• Coordinate Better Care Fund budget and administer Disabled Facilities Grants and other discretionary financial assistance.
• Oversee the Council's interpretation and enforcement of Housing Act 2004 and related guidance.
• Line manage the Private Sector Housing team with 1-1s and performance appraisals.
• Promote procedures and policies to integrate private sector housing functions with other public bodies.
• Monitor and profile PSH budgets via the corporate finance programme and foster partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
