Job summary

Trafford Council is seeking a Private Rented Sector Support Officer in Sale to back the PRS Lead in HOST, expanding private sector housing for homeless households. You will handle sign-ups, inspections, rent monitoring and liaise with the Temporary Accommodation Team and HOST Officers, delivering a high standard of service.

The role emphasizes self-motivation, organisation, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team, with SMART working and flexible options discussed with the hiring

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role delivering high customer service standards.
• Experience working in a multi-functional team and communicating with partners and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of General Data Protection legislation and safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the PRS Lead within HOST to increase private sector accommodation for homeless households.
• Assist with Sign-ups, property inspections and monitoring of rent accounts; liaise with Temporary Accommodation Team and HOST Officers.
• Arrange furniture packages and deliveries to properties within the HOST portfolio; respond to enquiries from residents and landlords.
