A leading educational service provider is looking for a Private School Teaching Assistant in Battersea. This temporary part-time role involves assisting students with their learning activities, providing one-to-one support for those with special educational needs, and helping with classroom management. Relevant qualifications are required including GCSEs in English and Maths, as well as previous experience in a school setting. Competitive pay ranges from £15 to £25 per hour and full training support is provided.

Assist in the classroom under the supervision of the lead teacher, support students with their learning activities, provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs, help with classroom management and behaviour, assist in preparing educational materials and resources.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, relevant teaching assistant qualification or experience, knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
Understanding of classroom procedures, ability to work well in a team, good communication skills, patience and empathy, basic IT skills.
Teaching Assistant qualification, First Aid training
Work in a classroom setting within a private school, part-time hours, temporary position, potential for extension based on performance.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
