Job summary
The role of Private and Overseas Patient Administrator is unlike any other in the NHS. It offers variety, an opportunity to learn about all aspects of the Trust and deals with complex rules and regulations. It requires an ability to analyse and assess information rapidly and then to communicate it to patients and colleagues in an understandable way.

An opportunity has arisen to join a unique team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The Private and Overseas Patient Team is a small dedicated team who are passionate about generating income for the Trust and providing advice and support to patients and staff. Whilst previous experience would be valued, this is a relatively unique area of expertise so training will be provided to the right candidate. We can promise you variety and a change from the norm. Our work is often rewarding but can also be challenging and involves difficult communications with patients in complex situations. Flexibility and attention to detail are essential and the ability to switch from one task to another with several interruptions is a bonus. If you want the opportunity to join us and be a part of our merry band, we would like to hear from you.
Working Pattern: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 8.30am to 5.30pm (8 hour days)
