Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a senior manager to lead private healthcare initiatives across Leeds and West Yorkshire. You will oversee development and pricing of private patient pathways, engaging with private insurers and clinical units to ensure services are safe, financially viable and aligned with NHS governance.

The role requires postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or related fields, strong commercial awareness, and experience presenting to senior clinical

Qualifications

• Experience developing private patient pathways and services within NHS/private healthcare settings.
• Experience with private medical insurers, administration, charging or income recovery.
• Understanding of NHS Private Patient Framework and CMA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and review of private patient pathways, ensuring safety, effectiveness and commercial viability.
• Oversee private pricing, package costs and tariffs in line with governance.
• Collaborate with Finance to embed pricing and tariffs across the Trust.
