Job Description:

My client, a global investment firm, is looking for a private funds lawyer to join their EMEA legal team in London. This is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Legal EMEA. The successful candidate will support on a broad range of legal matters which will include:

Providing legal support to the firm's business, including investment, research, and operations to support the firm’s EMEA strategy.
Drafting and negotiating agreements, including investment management, advisory, and non-disclosure for clients.
Providing legal support as required on the wider firm's business, in order to support the global strategy.
Working with internal investment, operations, compliance, and risk teams to advise on developing and refining process and strategy.

This person will have at least four years’ post-qualified experience gained at a top-tier City or US firm and/or reputable asset managers. The ideal candidate will benefit from an alternative investment funds/fund formation (PE, debt, and hedge fund) background with a willingness to take on a broader, more diversified role within a leading investment manager.
