Job Description:

My client, a global investment firm, is looking for a private funds lawyer to join their EMEA legal team in London. This is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Legal EMEA. The successful candidate will support a broad range of legal matters, including:

• Providing legal support to the firm's business, including investment, research, and operations to support the firm’s EMEA strategy.
• Drafting and negotiating agreements, including investment management, advisory, and non-disclosure agreements for clients.
• Providing legal support on the wider firm's business to support the global strategy.
• Collaborating with internal investment, operations, compliance, and risk teams to advise on developing and refining processes and strategies.

The ideal candidate will have at least four years of post-qualified experience gained at a top-tier City or US firm and/or reputable asset managers. Experience in alternative investment funds, fund formation (PE, debt, hedge funds) is preferred, along with a willingness to take on a broader, more diversified role within a leading investment manager.
