Job summary

A leading private equity house seeks an Associate for its Product Management function. In this role, you'll support Portfolio Managers with the administration of private equity products, ensure compliance, and manage reporting for institutional investors. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of experience in finance or private equity and possess strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields such as finance or private equity.
  • Experience in investment execution and understanding of legal processes.
  • Prior exposure to product development coordination.

Job description

THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners are working exclusively with an private equity house that manages €100billion + that islooking to strengthen its Product Management function with the hire at the Associate level, focusing on a range of private equity products, including primary & secondary fund investments, equity co-investments, and private credit. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers and support them in all aspects of the fund’s day-to-day activities, acting as a critical conduit between Investments and Sales, and working directly with their European institutional investors.
THE ROLE:

You will support the Portfolio Managers in all aspects of the Funds’ management, operations, organization, and monitoring, and lead the coordination of all the internal componetns of the fund (including the Investment Team, Legal, Finance, Reporting, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Client Services).

• Reviewing and assisting with ad hoc, quarterly, and annual reporting, investor/board communications, annual and other ad hoc meetings, support requests from diverse third parties.

• Supporting the Portfolio Managers in portfolio construction, monitoring, and forecasting activities

• Tracking and forecasting of private markets portfolio to determine capital needs and availability for new investments and/or distributions.

• Coordinating of the investment process for the Fund, including portfolio fit, and compliance with investment or regulatory restrictions

THE REQUIREMENTS:

3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience (i.e., finance, accounting, operations, investment banking, private equity, legal (PE or private funds).

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in investment execution and understanding of legal processes and formalities behind a transaction is favourable

• Prior experience or exposure to product development or product launch coordination
