Private Clients Tax Trusts Assistant Manager, Harrogate

We are seeking a talented newly qualified team member to join our Private Tax team in London, responsible for delivering annual tax compliance and planning work for a diverse portfolio of Trust clients.

As an Assistant Manager, you will be part of the delivery team working on client compliance, planning, routine checks, and practice development. This role offers a great opportunity for a newly qualified tax professional to develop their career in a supportive and growing team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing high-quality service to a portfolio of Trust clients
  • Managing portfolio administration, including compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations
  • Identifying planning opportunities
  • Preparing client reports
  • Responding to client inquiries about trust tax affairs

Qualifications:

  • ACA/CTA/STEP or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in a professional services firm
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance and some exposure to planning/advisory work
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to client needs
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting senior management
