Job Description:

This role involves joining our Private Tax team in London, focusing on tax compliance and planning for Trust clients. Responsibilities include managing client portfolios, ensuring compliance, preparing reports, and identifying planning opportunities. The ideal candidate is a newly qualified tax professional eager to develop their career in a supportive environment.

Opportunities are available in Cambridge, Guildford, Leeds / Harrogate, London, Newcastle, and Salisbury.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality service to Trust clients
  • Managing compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations
  • Identifying planning opportunities
  • Preparing client reports
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding trust tax affairs

Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage workload and prioritize deadlines
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff
  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond promptly
  • Experience supervising staff and supporting senior management

Educational Qualifications:

  • ACA/CTA/STEP or equivalent (preferred)

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in a professional services firm
  • Knowledge of personal tax compliance and some planning/advisory experience
  • Excellent communication skills
