A prestigious legal practice in West London seeks a Private Client Trusts & Estates Tax Specialist to join their dynamic team. Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Our client, a prestigious full-service Top 100 legal practice with an outstanding reputation for private client services, is seeking a Private Client Trusts & Estates Tax Specialist to join their dynamic and growing Private Client team. This role focuses on tax and accounting compliance support for trusts and estates, working closely with a team of experts committed to delivering exceptional results.
Your responsibilities will include preparing estate accounts, trust accounts, trust & estate tax returns, IHT returns, CGT returns, and more. You will manage trust administration tasks, update the Trust Registration Service, and support the firm's trust company as a professional executor and trustee.
You will work in a team that values work-life balance, collaboration, and technical expertise. There is also scope to participate in advisory projects and identify planning opportunities to ensure optimal outcomes for clients and to maintain the team's top-tier reputation.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of practical experience in accountancy or tax, with a solid understanding of trusts and estates. Qualifications such as STEP, ATT, or CTA are highly desirable, but candidates eager to attain these qualifications will be supported.
Essential skills include excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills (especially Excel), and the ability to multitask while remaining calm under pressure. Experience with CCH Personal Tax or CCH Trust Accounts software is advantageous but not mandatory.
