An established and highly regarded, people centric London law firm is seeking a Private Client Tax Solicitor to join its growing specialist team. This is a rare opportunity to work on complex tax and estate planning matters in a firm known for combining technical strength with personal service.
The Role The successful candidate will lead on a wide range of private client tax matters, supporting high-net-worth individuals, trustees, families, and business owners. The work is varied and intellectually stimulating, including:
- Inheritance tax planning and lifetime gifting strategies
- Establishing and administering onshore and offshore trusts
- Capital gains and income tax advisory
- Personal tax compliance and domicile/residence advice
- Cross-border estate structuring
- Liaising with investment managers, accountants, and family offices
You will work closely with an experienced team of Solicitors legal professionals in a collaborative, team orientated environment.
Candidate Profile This role would suit a solicitor with a strong grounding in private client tax and a genuine interest in helping clients plan for the future. The firm welcomes applications from junior lawyers with relevant training as well as experienced senior associates.
Essential requirements:- Qualified solicitor (England & Wales)
- STEP and/or CTA qualified (or working towards)
- Deomonstrable experience in inheritance tax, CGT, trusts, and personal tax matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A personable and pragmatic approach to client service
