Job Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Private Client Tax team in Bristol. This role involves providing tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of private clients, including individuals, trusts, private companies, and family offices.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients such as sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Identifying advisory opportunities and managing related projects.
  • Liaising with Partners, managing staff performance, providing on-the-job training, and addressing staff questions.
  • Handling administration of client portfolios, ensuring compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations are completed accurately and timely.
  • Preparing reports, attending client meetings, and responding to inquiries regarding personal tax affairs.
  • Providing exceptional client service and maintaining regular contact with clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience in a professional services firm.
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance, with exposure to planning/advisory work preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Strong written communication skills for drafting correspondence and explaining technical issues.
  • Interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and staff.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to supervise staff and support senior management.

Education and Qualifications:

ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
