Job Description:

Would you like to be part of our Guildford Private Client Tax team, working on a variety of clients including OMBs, HNWI, Partners in Partnerships, Non-Doms, and Sole Traders? You will be involved in a mix of advisory and compliance work.

The office is within walking distance from the train station, with parking options nearby, and is located in a town offering restaurants and shopping centers. The team actively participates in charity, networking, and social events and is known for being friendly and collaborative.

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will be the first point of contact for your clients and will coordinate with colleagues to deliver annual tax compliance and identify planning opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing tax returns for clients such as sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliaries, non-UK residents, and partnerships.
  • Managing all aspects of portfolio administration, including compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations.
  • Identifying planning opportunities and preparing reports for clients.
  • Managing WIP and client billing.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in a professional services firm.
  • Good knowledge of personal tax compliance, with some exposure to planning and advisory work preferred.
  • ACA / ATT / CTA or equivalent qualification.
