Job summary

ACCA Careers in Brighton is seeking a Private Client Tax Senior to join a respected accountancy firm. You will handle a portfolio of private clients, delivering high-quality tax services and proactive client management in a hybrid working environment.

The role requires ATT or CTA PQ, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication to build trusted relationships. You will mentor juniors and stay abreast of tax changes while collaborating with other departments to serve a diverse client

Qualifications

• Relevant ATT/CTA PQ or equivalent qualifications.
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax and legislation.
• Experience managing a portfolio of private clients with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Proactive problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review personal tax returns for private clients.
• Provide tailored tax planning advice for high-net-worth individuals and trusts.
• Manage client relationships and exceed expectations.
• Handle HMRC correspondence, enquiries and investigations.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and advise clients.
• Mentor and train junior team members.
• Stay updated on tax legislation and share updates with clients and colleagues.
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver seamless service.
