Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading professional services firm in Birmingham to appoint a Private Client Tax Senior. The role covers compliance and advisory work for a varied client base within a supportive, structured environment.

You will manage your own portfolio, review personal tax returns and support junior team members, with opportunities to develop advisory skills and client relationships across HNWIs, directors and property clients.

Qualifications

• ATT / CTA or ACA / CTA qualified or part-qualified.
• Strong background in personal tax within practice.
• Experience managing or working with a client portfolio.
• Exposure to private client work with HNWIs, directors and property clients desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proactive approach with an interest in advisory work.
• Organised, detail-focused and confident managing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for a varied client portfolio
• Managing day-to-day relationships with private clients
• Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and ongoing support
• Supervising and supporting junior team members
• Identifying potential advisory opportunities within your client base
• Maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse portfolio
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and in line with deadlines
