LHH Recruitment Solutions in Nottingham is seeking a Private Client Tax Manager to join an expanding private client team. You will own a client portfolio, delivering compliant work while engaging in advisory projects with exposure to high-quality private client matters.

The role combines compliance and advisory work with leadership responsibilities and opportunities to work closely with senior stakeholders. A supportive, collaborative team culture and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in private client tax within a practice environment.
• Ability to handle a mix of compliance and advisory work.
• Strong technical knowledge across personal tax matters.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and deadlines.
• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CTA (or by experience).
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of private client tax clients with compliance work.
• Leading advisory projects across income tax, CGT and IHT.
• Preparing and reviewing more complex tax returns and reports.
• Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
• Acting as a key contact for HMRC and other parties.
• Mentoring junior team members and supporting growth.
