Job description

Reed Practice are seeking a motivated and confident Private Client Tax Senior. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in tax compliance who is looking to broaden their experience in a dedicated private client firm.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth private clients, including trusts, partnerships, and non-UK domiciliaries.
  • Preparation of tax returns, business tax, and CGT computations for clients.
  • Handling client queries and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs regarding client affairs.
  • This role offers a diverse range of work and the opportunity to develop in a supportive environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated, committed, and a flexible team player with a positive attitude.
  • Proven experience in managing the day-to-day compliance affairs of a client portfolio.
  • Ability to deliver ad hoc advisory work connected to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in communicating with clients, intermediaries, and internal departments to gather tax return information.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Minimum education to ‘A’ level standard, ideally a graduate. CTA qualification is highly desirable.
