The Role

As part of the private client tax team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, playing a key role in helping them realise their business and personal ambitions. The practice's clients come from a variety of sectors and regions, united by their entrepreneurial spirit and innovative ideas.

You will manage your own portfolio of private clients, trusts, and partnerships, delivering exceptional client service and producing work efficiently and effectively. The role includes providing comprehensive personal tax compliance and advisory services tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. Additionally, you will help train and supervise junior staff.

Responsibilities
  1. Managing annual tax returns for assigned clients
  2. Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients
  3. Handling a diverse range of personal tax assignments, including tax forecasting, residence and domicile considerations, capital gains tax, planning, and enquiry work
  4. Addressing client issues and queries promptly
  5. Maintaining regular contact with clients
  6. Managing billing responsibilities for your portfolio of clients, trusts, and partnerships
  7. Collaborating with the team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations
  8. Supporting Managers and Partners with their portfolios and special projects
  9. Training and supervising junior staff
