As they continue to expand, a new opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Tax Accountant. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working, flexible hours, and clear development pathways.
Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring compliance with HMRC and internal deadlines
Preparing and submitting self-assessment tax returns and P11Ds
Advising clients on tax liabilities and payment schedules
Handling HMRC correspondence and client queries
Supporting Partners with technical queries and business development
Mentoring junior staff and contributing to knowledge sharing across the team
Assisting with the preparation of technical reports (income tax, CGT, IHT)
Taking part in client meetings and building lasting relationships
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a UK accountancy practice
ATT qualified (or studying towards), with some accounts exposure preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
Strong Excel and general IT skills; quick to learn new systems
Professional, proactive, and a strong team player
