Job summary

KPMG UK is recruiting a Private Client Tax Manager to lead a high-quality personal tax service from Birmingham, with a network of 20 offices nationwide. The role focuses on complex tax matters for high net worth individuals, trusts and estates, offering bespoke advisory solutions.

You will manage client portfolios, oversee staff development and ensure timely delivery and compliance with tax regulations, while working within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or tax adviser with experience working in a personal tax focussed environment.
• Academically strong results with insight into private client issues.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deliver bespoke tax solutions and work both in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high quality personal tax service to clients.
• Manage a diverse portfolio including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, income tax and international tax matters.
• Provide bespoke tax advice and solutions to assignments.
• Project manage tax advisory assignments, ensuring deadlines, risk management and compliance.
• Manage work in progress, billing and cash collection.
• Oversee the performance and development of staff.
