Private Client Tax Manager - Family Business

Our Private Client Team (Family Business) works with individuals, trustees, partnerships, sole traders, and family businesses to manage their tax affairs, including compliance and advisory matters. We collaborate across the firm to provide comprehensive services to owner-managed businesses and family offices, combining expertise in accounting, audit, and taxes.

As a Manager in the Family Business Private Client Tax team, you will oversee and deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a diverse client base. You will also manage and mentor junior team members, review their work, and collaborate on planning projects and technical assignments, contributing to business development efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the tax compliance process for various clients.
  • Lead and execute technical assignments.
  • Work with partners and directors to develop new business and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Coordinate with other departments to identify and meet client needs.
  • Brief junior staff on client businesses, supervise work, and provide on-the-job training.

  • Experience managing personal tax compliance and advisory projects, with confidence in relationship management.
  • Interest in mentoring and developing junior staff.
