This position offers direct access to high-profile clients, where you will play a key role in shaping complex tax strategies and advising on issues ranging from inheritance tax to international residency planning. With a strong advisory bias, this role is ideal for a tax professional seeking to deepen client relationships and gain experience that supports advancement to senior leadership.Key Responsibilities:* Take ownership of a dynamic portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, partnerships, and trusts, with a strong emphasis on bespoke advisory work. * Deliver proactive, strategic tax advice covering inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax mitigation, non-domicile and residency matters, trust structuring, and succession planning. * Act as a trusted adviser, building long-term relationships through direct client interaction and high-quality, tailored solutions. * Collaborate closely with HMRC and other professional advisers to manage complex tax issues and negotiate on clients' behalf. * Review and oversee the preparation of complex self-assessment tax returns, ensuring they align with broader advisory strategies. * Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering technical development and client-facing confidence. * Maintain high standards of technical and ethical compliance, managing deadlines and budgets efficiently. * Support business development through advisory-led conversations, identifying client needs and opportunities, contributing to proposals, and representing the firm at networking events. * Stay informed on evolving legislation and trends to anticipate client impact and shape advisory strategies accordingly.Key Requirements:* CTA qualified (or ACA/ACCA with significant tax advisory experience). * Demonstrated expertise in private client tax with a strong advisory track record, ideally from a professional services background. * In-depth technical knowledge of UK personal tax, particularly for HNWIs, trusts, IHT, and CGT. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative, client-first approach. * Proven ability to manage multiple advisory projects and mentor junior staff effectively.________
