Howells Consulting Ltd in Bristol is seeking a qualified CTA to join the Private Client Tax team at Manager level. You will manage a portfolio of HNWIs, oversee annual compliance, and advise on tax planning and succession matters.

You will work closely with senior managers and partners, supporting marketing initiatives and business development while maintaining excellent client relationships. Salary is competitive with flexible hours and homeworking two days a week.

Qualifikationen

Our client has built a strong reputation in the Private Client field, acting for an impressive HNW client list of new-money entrepreneurs, business owners, multi-generational families and landed wealth. Demand for their personal tax expertise continues to grow and they are now keen to appoint an additional CTA at Manager level.

You will join a thriving and growing team in Bristol. Performing very much a client-facing role as a key point of contact, you’ll take responsibility for a broad portfolio of HNWIs and their families. You’ll oversee their annual compliance, as well as identifying and advising on ad hoc personal tax planning opportunities. Working closely with senior managers and partners, you’ll undertake capital taxes advisory projects and also have the opportunity to assist with networking and marketing initiatives.

You’ll need to be CTA qualified and currently working either as a Manager or Assistant Manager in a respected Private Client Tax team. You’ll be looking for the next step in your career and be keen to join a supportive environment where you’ll be encouraged to develop your technical and non-technical skills.

Demonstrable experience of advising HNWIs on income tax, CGT, IHT and succession planning is essential. You’ll also need strong communication and interpersonal skills as this is a key client relationship management role.

Based in Bristol, the role offers homeworking two days a week, as well as flexible hours. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be c.£55k-£65k + Bens. Genuine scope exists to progress on to Senior Manager grade.
