Job summary

You will manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals and business owners, provide strategic tax planning, and collaborate with partners on advisory projects.

You will have autonomy, direct access to decision-makers, and scope to broaden into corporate tax and share schemes.

Qualifications

• CTA qualification or equivalent experience in private client tax.
• Strong private client tax experience in an accountancy practice.
• Solid knowledge of income tax, CGT and IHT.
• Experience managing a portfolio and reviewing personal tax returns.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proactive, commercially minded with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, building strong relationships.
• Provide tax planning advice covering income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts, property taxation and succession planning.
• Support complex advisory assignments, including international personal tax matters.
• Review personal tax returns and oversee compliance deadlines.
• Identify opportunities to provide proactive tax advice and add value for clients.
• Supervise and develop junior team members.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the private client tax department.
